"Archives for beginners"drop- in sessions at the Highland Archive Centre in Inverness

The Highland Archive Centre in Inverness has been providing drop in sessions for members of the public on Wednesdays  between 3pm and 7pm since February 2011. This arrangement is set to continue for the foreseeable future.

The sessions give an insight into how the Archive Service works and provide an introduction to the extent of the information held on the history of the Highlands. They are aimed at adults who would like to develop a new or take further an existing interest in Highland history.
